I got a bird!

My bird is the one in the front. She (not sure what gender she is yet until she reaches the adult stage) is a peach-faced lovebird. She was born on May 21, 2015!

She is a little older than her sister (or brother) which has the brown-yellow beak. Although they are both around the same age, my lovebird (named "Peach"... its gender neutral, I know) barely has any brown on her beak which is common in lovebird babies.
Why?
Because she is a green-pied lovebird, it's a colour variation. Chicks of that colour variation don't or barely have any brown on their beaks.
Her sister is a regular peach-faced lovebird which is why she has brown on her beak.

Today is her 11th day of living with me. At first she was aggressive and restless and hyper. But now, after a few days of training she is comfortable with sitting on my hand, shoulder, and my head (which I don't really like, oh well!).

Peach also learned how to step up from one finger to another.
How to fly from my hand to my shoulder.
AND
How to fly a little lap around the biggest room of my apartment right back to my hand!

Her sister (or brother) is a lot calmer and less noisy as Peach is... and it was the bird I originally wanted... I am really happy that I got Peach. We clicked off right away when she got home!
She is really scared of hands (unlike her sister) but she is really comfortable with me wearing gloves and stepping onto my hands while I am wearing gloves.

She is a really hard biter and to be honest... I have 3 scars on my thumb from her biting. But since a little bit of training, she rarely bites now.

She comfortably sits on my shoulder and enjoys being on my hands!

Completed Horse Agility Set

Hi everybody!
Today i completed my Horse Agility Set. I am still looking for a doll to fit my stablemate scale but for now this guy will do! I also attempted at sculpting a person but failed.

I really need to get some stablemate scale dolls...  But shipping rates for Canada are so high!

I would use a running horse for this diorama but I don't have a running person (doll). Since the one that I have is standing... There's pretty much nothing I can do right now except have a horse that's standing as well. Better pictures of this will come soooooooooon!

That's all for this post,
Marina

Crabapple Photography

Hello friends!
Long time no post... I know, I know and repeatedly I said that I will post more but I end up not. Partially because my model horse hobby went into kind of a halt since I started my YouTube Channel. But recently I found out that there is actually a few live shows in Toronto and a club too! Hooray! Feeling inspired again, I am motivated to try my hand in halter & performance shows. I don't have any tack and I'll be honest I'm not good at it at all. I can't even make a halter! BUT I am able to make a diorama and little scenes and stuff.

Also, Crabapple trees (to be honest all trees) started blooming here and I decided to take a few models out for a few shots!

I must say that this is my favourite girl out of my collection. My camera in this lighting doesn't show her true "colours". Her dun is a lot darker, but she looks beautiful as always. Favourite mold!

This particular model is harder to photograph. She looks red on here but in real life she is more towards the pink-ish colour.

As you can see, I'm starting to collect this mold!

At first, I didn't really like this model, but she grew a lot on me, she's now one of my favourites!

As you can see here (using my fancy camera with a sucky battery that dies very fast), she looks pink-ish.

I am really liking this background!!

Too bad that these crab apple trees' flowers only last for 1-2 weeks!

That's it for this post!
