Surprise Ponies!

Now, these ponies were really a surprise to me.... Le boyfriend and I have been fighting for 2-3 days now and things finally calmed down yesterday. *Phew*
But anyway, since this blog is mostly about ponies... Then it is the ponies I shall talk about!

Breyer Stablemates OF Sport Horse & Foal Set and Schleich OF Paint Horse Stallion(2006)

*squal* SOOOO MUCH PONIEEESSSS! I was just shocked when I saw them. At first, I thought I was hallucinating (I was feeling really light headed this morning and my eyes were really really tired).
I'm going to start off with the Schleich Paint Horse Stallion because he's the first that I saw. Now, I wanted to get this guy (he was on my Ponies-To-Get list). He reminded me of Hidalgo (2004).

AND I love the movie, I just... LOVE IT. So, I'm very happy to have this guy in my collection to remind me of both the movie and my boyfriend <3

Ain't he just cute? He's a cute little Chestnut Overo Stallion, I'm thinking of assigning him a breed... The Spanish Mustang or American Paint Horse!

He has blue eyes

Thank god for Macro option on my FujiFilm FinePix 6900Z! He does have a little rub on his brow bone and a nose rub, but that's okay, I can fix it.

Yay for blue eyes! :D

His overall condition is really good, he had a few black spots on him but I managed to get those cleaned up (use the eraser! It works!) and he has a really cute face. I just can't wait to do some photography with him!

Now, on to the Breyers!

The Breyer Stablemate Sport Horse & Foal Set!

Le boyfriend got me the Sport Horse & Foal set, & if anyone is interested in the other sets, here's the other side:

I'd say that my favourites are the Sport Horse & Foal and American Quarter Horse & Foal set

I'm not much of a stablemates collector (I used to be though), but now I'm just like: THESE GUYS ARE JUST SO ADORABLE. Now, don't get me wrong, I have lots of stablemates (like 13 now) but I've always liked the Traditional scale more.

Now the only flaw that I could find in this set is the mini rub that's on the side of his leg. But it's not his showing side, so he's just fine :)

My two Breyer OF Stablemate Warmblood Stallions (G2)

Yay! I officially have a mini (tiny) conga! The Breyer OF Stablemate Warmblood Stallions (G2) conga! The chestnut (on the left) is from the "Horse Lovers" Stablemate set, and the bay (on the right) is from the set that I got today (if y'all haven't noticed ;) ).

I had to use my window sill to get enough lighting

He has some really nice rich shading, and I love bays!

This little chestnut filly has some temper, eh? Awwe, the cutest little pink white/bald face! She also has some nice shading!

Both have white socks and white/bald faces!

The chestnut WB stallion on the right & bay overo filly are from the Stablemate "Horse Lovers" set that I got in 2011.

They're now a family o.o

& 

I had to use my "Sunshine Glory" (aka Sunny) as Sire for this filly though.
Since, he's my very first Breyer.

Happy Belated Valentine's Day!

Happy Belated Valentine's Day!
I hope y'all had a wonderful day!
I haven't blogged in a while...I actually haven't been on the computer that much lately at all. This weekend I spent 75% of my time watching CSI: Las Vegas Season 1 that I have bought on Friday. I'm a big fan of "cop" shows, mysteries, detective, etc. (y'all get the drift :)).

For Valentine's Day... Peter Stone put up a "Valentine Gift Basket"

This gift basket is HUGE! The tickets were $2 each. I am just admiring those two ponies and the ISH! Just beautiful.

Anyway, I've had a very wonderful Valentine's Day. My boyfriend and I ended up spending time with eachother and not doing anything "special". Just being together is already special! (Well, that's how I see it anyway).

Le boyfriend got me Red and Blue roses and two valentine's day plushies (they are so soft!! An Elephant and a Giraffe) and Lindt: Lindor & Ferrero Rocher assorted chocolates <3333 & He made the prettiest card ever (good job babe, if you're reading this!)

They are so adorable! My boyfriend is just damn adorable!

I didn't have a proper big enough vase for the roses... So, I put them in a jar.

So much plants in my room!

I've never seen blue roses before (as in... In real life), they are so pretty!

I can't wait until they open up!

I love this guy! I absolutely loooove the tail and the mane and this mould! Originally he was for $200 but this weekend he was $100. *sigh* I wish I had money to spend on these beauties right now! I will for sure add him to my "Peter Stone Wanted" list!

Wow, the dapples the colour! Sooty Buckskins are just so yummy! Maybe if I beg my parents they will supply me with my birthday money and I could get a DAH in this colour! BUT considering I've been needing a new phone (since my Blackberry is having so many problems... It's 4 years old, so I can't complain), and I'm already getting a DAH for my birthday...I think I will pass on a DAH until December or even next year.

Arabian Show Halter Set (Part I)

The chest piece is done... Now for the halter...

I do not have any Traditional scale Arabians, so I don't have the measurements for the halter. I was thinking of making it on one of my smaller head models (GG Valentine Breyer OF) and adjusting it when I will receive my DAH.

This is the first time I'm making an Arabian halter set, so far I think I'm doing a pretty good job :)

As much as I tried to have the same colour for the band and the tassels... It didn't work out. The colours in real life look very close, but on camera they look totally different.

So much tassels! It took me 4 hours to make 33 tassels

I apologize for disappearing for a few weeks... Exams and new semester... But I'll try blogging as much as I can on the weekend :)
