Autumn Live - Small Horse, Big City 2016 AR

Hosted by Neena  in Toronto, Canada.

NOTE: Pictures are taken by me but unless I say that I own a particular horse, that means that it is not owned by me! I am happy to add the names of owners underneath the pictures, so contact me via comments.

This is the 2nd live show that I have attended this year and in my whole model horse hobby.

My Table
My show string was one of the smaller ones compared to others, but they did not disappoint!

Ribbons!
This time around I did not end up getting any of the big ribbons, but that's okay

Raffle Table

I didn't participate much in the raffle, and did not end up bringing any raffle winnings home but I am happy for those who did end up winning! :D

I mainly focused on taking pictures of the Artist Resins because those are always drool worthy and especially since I have my very first Artist Resin flying in from Australia, I was scoping out my future "competition" ;)

Owned by Emily Bailey-Bavacqua
The Artist Resins started out with Foals.

Little appaloosa foal jumping over a golden retriever I suspect!
Even the foals were drool worthy!

Artist Resin call back,
Grand Champion went to Daria Mayorova's Stormwatch resin
Reserve Champion went to Lisa Sharpe the chestnut "in the air" (I don't know what the resin's name is)

Now, that's all the pictures that I have of Artist Resins, the next post will feature others!

Attempts at SM Scale Arabian Costume

Hi everyone!
I know I haven't blogged in a long time and to be honest... I didn't' have enough create juices flowing in me and I didn't feel inspired. Until a few days ago...
I decided to try my hand at making an Arabian Costume... in Stablemate Scale

I don't have any pictures of the earlier stages but here I have one of the chains on.

How it looks from the sides

Yes, I also made a saddle and that took me at least 2 weeks to make but I'm not the biggest fan of it. The halter doesn't really fit this mold. The head is slightly larger than the rearing SM.

How it looks form the side

Here I added the chain parts

How it looks from the front

and the side

Decided to use a Dime (10 cents) for scale comparison of how small this is!

Tried it on on this one again, fits her better now1

Love her colour! Too bad she's not LSQ.

from the side

I decided I didn't like how the tassle looked on the lead rope, so I changed it and added a tassle on the forehead

from the front

From the side

The other side

tassle looks a little bit off because of the mane

from the front

Decided to put the saddle on this guy, it doesn't really fit well

Love this colour!

Tried it on my new stablemate that I got at the Toronto Live

Fixed up the chain, so they wouldn't look tangled

Made ANOTHER halter but using 2 colours. It's supposed to be red but looks orange

from the side

Added tassles on each side of the blue halter,

And here's the red-yellow halter again!

Tomorrow I'll attempt at the part which I call the "necklace"!

Thank's for reading!
