When I look at him I am so thankful that I got him last year & the wait for him was worth it!

Completed Horse Agility Set

Hi everybody!
Today i completed my Horse Agility Set. I am still looking for a doll to fit my stablemate scale but for now this guy will do! I also attempted at sculpting a person but failed.

I really need to get some stablemate scale dolls...  But shipping rates for Canada are so high!

I would use a running horse for this diorama but I don't have a running person (doll). Since the one that I have is standing... There's pretty much nothing I can do right now except have a horse that's standing as well. Better pictures of this will come soooooooooon!

That's all for this post,
Marina

Crabapple Photography

Hello friends!
Long time no post... I know, I know and repeatedly I said that I will post more but I end up not. Partially because my model horse hobby went into kind of a halt since I started my YouTube Channel. But recently I found out that there is actually a few live shows in Toronto and a club too! Hooray! Feeling inspired again, I am motivated to try my hand in halter & performance shows. I don't have any tack and I'll be honest I'm not good at it at all. I can't even make a halter! BUT I am able to make a diorama and little scenes and stuff.

Also, Crabapple trees (to be honest all trees) started blooming here and I decided to take a few models out for a few shots!

I must say that this is my favourite girl out of my collection. My camera in this lighting doesn't show her true "colours". Her dun is a lot darker, but she looks beautiful as always. Favourite mold!

This particular model is harder to photograph. She looks red on here but in real life she is more towards the pink-ish colour.

As you can see, I'm starting to collect this mold!

At first, I didn't really like this model, but she grew a lot on me, she's now one of my favourites!

As you can see here (using my fancy camera with a sucky battery that dies very fast), she looks pink-ish.

I am really liking this background!!

Too bad that these crab apple trees' flowers only last for 1-2 weeks!

That's it for this post!

Trying my hand in rope halter making

Hello friends!
So, after hearing that Toronto has live shows, I got motivated to try my hand in performance making!

I always thought Horse Agility was pretty cool, so I decided to start with that since I think it is easier than others.

I finally tried to make a rope halter and I must say I'm pretty proud of it for my first try and on the stablemate scale!

I think I will attempt again on another day and try to improve my work.

That's all for now!

YOUTUBE FANFEST TORONTO 2015

Hello everybody!
I am back with the long-awaited post/video a about YouTube FanFest Toronto that went on May 2, 2015.

I ended up winning 2 pairs of meet&greet tickets: iiSuperwomanii & Macy Kate. My boyfriend also won a pair of meet&greet ticket to Kurt Hugo Schneider.

iiSuperwomanii aka Lilly Singh's meet& greet was at 8:30am.
Kurt Hugo Schneider was at 10:20am.
Macy Kate was at 11:30am.

But when we (my boyfriend and I) got there to be in lines to enter the meet&greet, the YouTube worker told us that we could only go to either Kurt Hugo Schneider or Macy Kate. Apparently there was some kind of overlap between those meets. We ended up choosing Kurt over Macy.

The lines were pretty long and it took an hour for us to see Lilly Singh. During the M&G, each person was only allowed 2-3 minutes or even less with the youtuber. Basically enough time for a picture and a hug. At least that's how it was for iiSuperwomanii. I was really lucky to not only get a picture but also a video for my friend Nick (who could not come to YTFFTO). I, still, cannot believe that I met Lilly and got a picture and was in the video! Around 100 people won tickets to see Lilly! She was so great! She was personal with her subscribers but also rushed.

After we had our turn we were escorted out of the building and then had to walk back to the lines for our next M&G.

Kurt Hugo Schneider's M&G was a lot smaller which was surprising. It was probably around 20 people that were in line with us. I got a few pictures with Kurt & an autograph! Kurt is super nice and personal and it did not feel rushed at all compared to Lilly's.

During Kurt's M&G there were also 3 other youtubers: Kina Grannis, Bethany Mota, and Jusrein. But before Kina came in her spot was LaurDIY finishing up her M&G. When I saw her I was super sad that I did not get to say hi to her or hug her. She was very busy and she looked super cute!!!

Bethany Mota had a huge amount of subscribers at her M&G. I'd say that Jenna Marbles, Bethany Mota, iiSuperwomanii & JusRein had the biggest amount of tickets given away judging by the crowd.

The Red Carpet which was at 5pm and apparently (from the woman's words that was beside us) lasted for an hour. Emmitt & I got there at 4:30pm and didn't end up getting a good view of the Red Carpet. The carpet was super short (like 5 meters long) and only 10% of the people that came got to see the actual Red carpet. The rest had to watch from 2 big screens.

Emmitt and I only stayed for an hour and the left to go eat. We came back for the show at around 7:30pm and we returned to see a big tent like in front of the stage and majority of the people couldn't see the stage and had to look at the 2 big screens. There was a bit of an issue with the mic and from where Emmitt and I were standing we could barely hear the youtubers and the commentators. But other than that everything else was fine!
