Stablemates!

Hello readers!
I finally have some photographs to show! :)
Now, this time I took out my stablemates... And I'll be honest, I haven't taken photos of these guys in pretty much a VERY very long time. I took approximately 8 stablemates with me, and I ended up taking photos of only 2. Why? Because it's a Saturday... and There were tons of people at the park and lots of children. But, I did manage to take a few photos before people came.
The first stablemate that's pictured is my very first stablemate scale, Breyer, and model horse. So, this guy is extremely special.
This guy's name is "Sunshine Glory", I got him at a thrift store (I always visit those for books and models and props and whatever cool things they have). This is the horse that made me discover Breyer. He was already banged up when I got him, considering he was in a package with a bunch of other toys all mixed in together and scratching each other. He had a rub on his belly and rubs all over his legs and a few on his hips. But, I loved (and still do) him for all of his flaws.

I tried to paint over the rubs that were on his legs, but the colour does not match it perfectly. Either way, he is still a very photogenic horse.

I think I got a test model, because I compared him to the ones I've seen in store and that are new... Sunny (aka Sunshine Glory) is a little darker and his paint job just doesn't look like what I saw in store. I love his eye whites!

Both of his ears chipped and I was extremely upset, I ended up glueing them together but you can still see.

Originally, he was supposed to be in a Breyer Stablemates Saddle Club Pack (4 Stablemates) and I intend on buying that pack... Eventually, I always wanted a double of Sunny. I believe his Breyer name is Starlight.
Not my photo! I found it on internet!
Breyer Stablemate "The Saddle Club" pack

I NEED (WANT) THAT PACK! I love all the horses that are in this pack too!

This girl is from my Breyer "Horse Lovers Shadow Box" Stablemate Pack. I really like this mold and the colour is beautiful. So much dimension in this paintjob! Good job Breyer!

Taken from the Breyer Horses website

I have all the horses in this pack, and I like all the models in it!

Unfortunately I only took 3 photos of her, and only 2 turned out well. There's always next time right?

This guy still hasn't been named, I got him around January-February? I took this photograph at a bench... I was trying to take some photos but then my camera decided to go kaput on me. This stablemate's colour and pain job is really nice. I really like this guy. Thanks babe!

This filly's name is "Apollonia"  (If anyone watched "The Godfather", I hope you get the reference).
This filly is absolutely adorable! So... Her sire had to be Sunny (aka Sunshine Glory).

Sunshine Glory, aka Sunny

I might as well share some of my old stablemate photography (like 4-5 years old) that I uploaded onto DeviantArt. Unfortunately, I do not have the original photographs, I'll have to share the ones that I watermarked on DeviantArt.

I also had an unfortunate taste in Stable name as well... "Purple Sunshine Stable", I like purple and I love Sunshine Glory... So let's just combine those two together and make it Purple Sunshine Stable. Since then, that name just stuck and I am too lazy and uncreative to change it.

I believe I took this photograph the day I got the Breyer Horse Lovers Shadow Box.

This filly is adorable!

This was my entry for UHH Photo contest that they held like 2-3 years ago?

Back when Sunny's ears weren't chipped. *Cries*

This stablemate is a gelding, but I always found him more... Mare ish to me.

That's all for this post!
Thank you for reading,

P.S. Here's a little treat for y'all:

Trip to ROM!

Hello readers!
I apologize for my absence (yet again). I'll be honest, I thought I'd be taking a lot of model horse photography  or any kind of photography this month, but so far... That clearly didn't happen... I am pretty disappointed with myself.
Anyway, here are some non-model horsey photos that I took.
My boyfriend and I decided to go to ROM (Royal Ontario Museum) on August 2nd, before he went to a family vacation to Miami (Florida).
All the photos were taken with my Motorola Moto G phone's camera.

The ROM trip was A LOT of fun, we went to the General Admission exhibitions and also the Special Exhibition (The Forbitten City). Unfortunately, they did not let us take photos in the special exhibition but it's a MUST-GO-TO! There were sooo many horse paintings and the detail on them was AMAZING!
Each exhibition was interesting. Some were more interesting than others (in my opinion) but in general everything was great!

Ancient Rome and Greece Exhibition
The only thing I was mad about... Was that my phone camera's battery ran out pretty quickly. I didn't want to bring my professional camera because it's heavy and the battery runs out really quickly... Like within an hour? I have decided that I need to buy a portable battery charger, because I am planning to go to Ripley's Aquarium and the Ontario Science Centre soon too.

I LOVE Sea shells. They are so pretty and colourful. This reminds me of the necklace that my love gave me.

Dinosaurs!

There were mini displays in the stair cases to look at. My favourite must be this one!

Hedwig, is that you? (Harry Potter Reference)

So much detail!

Little figurines

Dinosaurs!

Ice bucket that someone (I don't remember who) gave to the Princess of Russia (The Romanov Family).

Birds! I loved this exhibition!

Another picture of the Ice Bucket.

Dinosaur!

Centaur and man

Dinosaur! My boyfriend's and mine favourite exhibition!

Beautiful vase with the Arabian Horse and rider.

Dinosaur iron statue.

T-Rex! I must say, HDR makes photos sooo much better!

Coloured skeleton (Fish and Turtle).

BEAUTIFUL Artist Resin (I think it was limited to 100 pieces?). My favourite sculpture of all the sculptures.

My love also bought me this beautiful bracelet, it's made completely from an emerald green cord and has a few white and brown jade beads with a beautiful green jade Azalea flower in the centre. I don't have pictures of it at the moment, but I will include it in my next post! (Thanks babe, it's beautiful! <3)

That's all for this post!
Thanks for reading,

Photos from 2013

It seems like no matter how hard I try to post everyday or even every other day... It just does not happen. But since my stressful month of the summer is over, I should be able to take more pictures. I discovered a new spot for photography that I absolutely love, but mosquitoes are my biggest enemy right now. I am slightly allergic to mosquitoes, so it's even worse for me :(
Anyway, here are a few photos I took last year, to make up for my inactivity! Note: The watermark that I've used was for my website that I had for my "model horse stable". I am probably shutting it down, since I have no more... Interest in making it like what it was before.

... I am back...!

Hello everybody!
I apologize for my long absence... I have gotten so busy these last few months that I had really no time or ideas or photography to post on this blog. But I am back now!
I have lots of photography to post and I am excited! :D

Summer is finally here! YEEPEEE!

Today's photography:

I went bike riding with my boyfriend and our friend, and this was the first time I took Aragorn (the DAH finally has a proper name! Before I used to call him my boyfriends name LOL). Oh boy, I am sure glad that I took him with me today, the lighting was not perfect, but still good.
Mosquitoes were not biting today! Maybe... It's because we went to the park at a later time and it was too hot for the mosquitoes... I was debating whether or not to take one of my models to do some photography... and this time I was like: "I GOT TO DO SOME PHOTOGRAPHY."
So, without further a due...
This dragonfly was my camera's first "victim"
Then we biked to the little lake-swap.... Lots of Canada geese and ducks today!

The woman behind the camera!

This duck was really curious

and eventually another duck got curious too!

Such pretty horse!
Photography from before:

June 29, 2014

I forgot my fake grass! The lighting was so nice! (around 8 am)

And while taking this photograph I got bitten by mosquitoes pretty badly... Around 5 bites in 2 minutes!

Ducks & Geese!

Ducklings!

Canada Geese!

Lately, there has been 2 coyote attacks (where 2 females were bitten by coyotes) in the region where I live. My father goes jogging a lot in the park early in the morning, and he saw a coyote (at the time he thought it was a fox) with a hedgehog in its mouth. My parents' friends also witnessed a coyote attacking a group of Canada Geese. This puts me a little on the edge being at the park, but I figure that coyotes hunt usually early in the mornings or late in the evenings.

Random:

My first sunflower opened! And the rest are beautiful potato flowers! Yes, this is how a potato plant looks like!

We saw a doe!
I haven't seen a wild deer up close like this before!
That's all for this post!
Thank you for reading!
Cheers,
